LC Calendar & Reservations

How to Make Reservations:

Check the calendars below to view space availability.

Anything that is a not a teacher bringing his/her classes to the
Learning Commons requires a Master Calendar Request.

To Bring Classes:

To bring classes to the Learning Commons, please fill out this LC Class Reservation Form. Dr. Charles will send a confirmation email once your classes have been added to the calendar.

To Reserve Space:

All other Learning Commons reservations require a Master Calendar Request form. This includes: -meetings -trainings -events -speakers -student activities -student meetings -anything that is not a teacher bringing his/her class to the Learning Commons during a regularly scheduled period Complete the form, stop by the LC for the librarian’s signature, and submit the form to Melissa Gonzales in A101. Ms. Gonzales will email you once your reservation is approved and added to the Master Calendar.

To Reserve Technology:

To reserve Chromebook carts, laptop carts, or iPad carts, please visit the Technology Reservation page. For questions about technology, contact the TechKnow team at x3280.

Space Descriptions

Main Learning Commons: Main center area. Flexible seating includes easily movable tables and chairs. Projection area on large wall. The computer lab is booked separately, so please indicate whether or not both spaces are needed when making request. Maximum Occupancy = 128.

Computers: 30 virtual desktop computers that may be booked for visiting classes. Corner area directly across from main entrance; to the right of projection area. The main learning commons is booked separately, so please indicate whether or not both spaces are needed when making request. 

E137: Flexible classroom space with BenQ interactive whiteboard. Ideal for meetings or professional development sessions. Maximum Occupancy = 49.

E144: Small conference room with a large conference table, projector, and whiteboard. Ideal for small meetings or small group instruction. Seats 8-10.

E145: Small conference room with two student tables, projector, and whiteboard. Ideal for small meetings or small group instruction. Seats 4-6.

Book C/O: Bring classes to browse the library’s print collection and check out books.
